Crossword Puzzle Competition was conducted to inculcate the proficiency on
crossword puzzle and its significance in the minds of students to enrich their
reading habits As a result, the students have understood the eminence of
Vaishnavism.

Vaishnav College, Library & NDLI Club organized and conducted a competition
on “Vaishnav Crossword Puzzle Competition” on 18.07.2023 at 10.00 am in DDGDVC
Library. The competition was conducted for the NDLI Club Members of DDGDVC. The
competition was judged by Dr.V.Sowmyanarayanan, Assistant Professor, Head Department
of Sanskrit (Shift I) and Dr.S.Ganesh, Assistant Professor, Head i/c Department
of Sanskrit (Shift II) DDGD Vaishnav College. The gathering was
welcomed by Dr. P. Suresh, NDLI Club President and Assistant Professor,
Department of English (Shift I), DDGDVC. All the students performed well and it
was highly appreciated by our judges. They enlightened the participants on the
importance of reading and gathering the knowledge on Vaishnavism for future
generations. In total, sixty two students
participated in the competition and the top three participants were awarded.
All the participants were given participation certificates.
