Objectives:
To
inculcate reading habit among the students and also increase the footfall of
students to the library and enrich their knowledge through books, periodicals
and digital resources.
Outcome:
- Introducing the pleasure of reading periodicals and converting this ten days exercise in to a habit.
- Enhancing the knowledge of Students.
- Updating the global information of the Student community.

Vaishnav College, Library & NDLI Club organized and conducted a Competition
on “Intra - College Quiz Competition” on 25.07.2023 at 10.00 am in DDGDVC
Library. The competition was conducted for the NDLI Club Members of DDGDVC. The
competition was judged by Dr.K.Rao Prashanth Jyoty, Assistant Professor,
Department of Business Administration DDGD Vaishnav College. The gathering was
welcomed by Dr. P. Suresh, NDLI Club President and Assistant Professor,
Department of English (Shift I), DDGDVC. All the teams performed well and it
was highly appreciated by our judge. They enlightened the participants on
the importance of reading newspapers and how to keep themselves updated with
the entire world. In total, fifty four students participated in the competition
and the top three teams were awarded. All the participants were given
participation certificates.
