Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College Library and NDLI Club organized a webinar on “Satyam Param Dheemahi” on 26.12.2021 at 10 a.m. by Dr.V.Sowmyanarayanan, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Sanskrit, Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vasihnav College.  Ms. T Sujatha Rammohan, Librarian Shift II, DDGDVC delivered the welcome address. Presidential address was delivered by Dr.S.Santhosh Baboo, Principal, DDGDVC.  Mr.P.Arunkumar, Assistant Professor, Department of English, DDGDVC introduced the resource person.

Dr.V.Sowmyanarayanan preached the students about the importance of truth and he told that nothing has been more rewarding than leading a truthful life. Where all else fails, truth works. When nothing helps, truth does. Truth is the only long-term anchor of a good life. It redeems you. In fact, the path of truth is the only path of salvation. For, truth is liberation. It is the only end. Rest is merely the means.The session ended with Vote of thanks by Mr.M.Vigneshwaran, Library Assistant. DDGDVC.

Library Team Development Programme (LTDP) “Hands on Training On Recent Trends in PPT” on 19/12/2021 at 10.00 am by Dr.C.Ramasubramanian, Librarian, Sri Paramakalyani College, Alwarkurichi, Tiruneveli.

Dr.M.Mani, Librarian(Shift-I), DDGDVC delivered the welcome address. 

Mr.D.Rajini Ganth, Library Assistant, DDGDVC Introduced the resource person.Dr.C.Ramasubramanian, elaborated various aspects of the Power Point Presentation and how it can be used in the Library for reaching out to students and staff. The session enhanced the knowledge of the Library staff and helped them develop the presentation skills. The session ended with Vote of thanks by Ms.T.SujathaRammohan, Librarian Shift II DDGDVC.

Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College Library organized a National Level Library Professional Development Programme (LPDP) on “Exploring Emerging Technologies for Lifelong Teaching and Learning Process” on 4.12.2021 at 3.00 pm.Dr.M.Mani, Librarian Shift I,DDGDVC delivered the welcome address. Presidential address was delivered by  Dr.S.Santhosh Baboo, Principal, DDGDVC, Shri.Ashok Kumar Mundhra, Secretary gave the felicitation address.Chief Guest address was given by Dr.R.Balasubramani, Associate Professor, DLISC, Bharathidasan University, Trichy. Chief Guest introduction was done by Ms.D.Abirami, Assistant Librarian and Mr.D.Rajini Ganth, Library Assistant Introduced the resource person Dr.T.Augustine Arul Prasad Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, DDGDVC.

Dr.T.Augustine Arul Prasad highlighted the various ICT tools which can be used in our day to day life. He gave an insight to the emerging technologies that can be used in the Library field to reach Library users in this pandemic situation.

The session ended with Vote of thanks by Ms.T.Sujatha Rammohan, Librarian Shift II. An e-certificate with photo was sent to all participants through e-mail.
