National Webinar on EBSCO Platform for Quality Research on 05.03.2022
Objective:
The webinar is aimed to enhance the knowledge of the
e-resources available in the EBSCO database and to increase the usage of the resources.
Outcome:
The webinar will help
participants to gain knowledge about the available resources in the EBSCO
database and will enable them to use the resources for their academic research.
The webinar provides insight into how to create free “My EBSCOhost” account to
make their research more easily accessible and can access anytime e-resource
access via EBSCO mobile apps.

Vaishnav College Library in association withEBSCO organized a National webinar on
“EBSCO platform for quality Research’ on 05.03.2022 at 03.00 p.m. by Mr.R.Periyasamy Pradeep, Training Manager-South India, EBSCO Information Services
and IEEE Xplore Digital Library, New Delhi.
Ms.C.Premakumari,
Assistant Librarian, DDGDVC delivered the welcome address. Presidential address
was delivered by Dr.S.Santhosh Baboo, Principal, DDGDVC. Resource
person introduction was done by Mr.I.Noorul Hasan. DDGDVC.
Mr.R.
Periyasamy Pradeep briefed participants on how to use the EBSCO database
effectively for their research. He highlighted the various resources available
in the database and gave hands on experience on how to set up a free "My EBSCOhost" account to make their research
more easily accessible.
Participants were briefed about how they can access
EBSCO anywhere anytime Electronic-resource via EBSCO mobile apps.The session
ended with Vote of thanks by Ms.J.Sangeetha,
