Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College Library organizes a National webinar on “Addressing Plagiarism in Higher Education Institute using OURIGINAL (Urkund)” in association with eGalatic, Pune, on 28.02.2022 at 3.00p.m. by Mr.Prakash Sarda, Country Head, eGalactic, Pune and Ms.Prity Rathi, Product Training Manager, eGalactic, Pune. Ms.T.Sujatha Rammohan, Librarian, Shift II, DDGDVC delivered the welcome address and introduced the resource persons. Presidential address was delivered by Dr.S.Santhosh Baboo, Principal, DDGDVC. The session provided an insight in to the Urkund software and how it helps to detect and prevent plagiarism regardless of language. The software supports and enables academic institutionsto improve efficiency and deliver quality content by providing a fully automated system for assessing the authenticity and originality of any text.The session ended with Vote of thanks by Ms.D.Abirami, Assistant Librarian, DDGDVC.
