Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College, Library & NDLI Club conducted a Programme
on “Book Review” on 01.02.2024 at 11.00 am in DDGDVC Library. The event
commenced with a welcome address by Mr.J.Praveen Prabhu, Assistant Professor
& Head i/c, PG Department of English. The presidential address was
delivered by the Principal Dr.S.Santhosh Baboo. The keynote address was presented by Mr.Amarjith Gargh, Visiting
Professor, PG Department of English, emphasised the importance of reading and
teaching. The event featured, insightful book reviews by five students from the
PG Department of English. The session also had an impactful and thought
provoking discussion about the books by the student participants. Reviewers were honoured.
Participation certificate was issued to all the participants. The session concluded with a gracious vote
of thanks rendered by Ms.Nandhini Praveen, Assisstant Professor, PG Department
of English.
