Outcome:
It
helps to produce more Mime Artist in our college which will in turn strengthen
our college cultural Team and also motivate them to concentrate more on reading.

Dwaraka
Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College, Library & NDLI Club organized and
conducted Mime Competition on “Reading Habits” on 27.02.2023 at 02.00 pm in DDGDVC
Library. The competition was conducted for the NDLI Club Members of DDGDVC. The
competition was judged by Dr.T.Umapathy, Theatre Artist cum NSS Programme
Officer Assistant Professor PG and Research Department of Economics, Indira
Gandhi NSS Awardee. The gathering was welcomed by Dr.P.Suresh, NDLI Club
President and Assistant Professor, Department of English (Shift 1), DDGDVC. The
entire team performed well and it was highly commended by our chief guest. He
also highlighted certain important tips to the students regarding the mime. Totally
thirty students participated in the Mime
competition and the top three Teams were awarded with cash prize. All the
participants were given participation certificate.
