Objectives:
- To educate participants about the NDLI, highlighting its purpose, and benefits as a free and accessible online learning platform.
- To provide guidance on effectively registering for an NDLI account, searching for relevant resources, utilising filtering options, and navigating the platform’s user friendly interface.
- To assist new users in the registration process helping them successfully create their individual NDLI and NDLI Club accounts.
Outcome:
- A significant increase in the number of registered NDLI users from the target audience.
- Participants will acquire practical skills for navigating and utilising digital libraries, applicable to other online information resources as well.
- Participants will develop a deeper understanding of NDLI’s value and will feel more empowered to use the platform independently.

Library and NDLI Club conducted a session titled "National Digital Library
of India (NDLI): User Awareness & Enrollment Session" on 23rd
July 2025 at 2:00 p.m. The session was led by Ms.C.Premakumari and Mr.I.Noorul
Hasan, Assistant Librarian of DDGDVC. Commencing with a welcoming address, the
resource persons presented a thorough summary of the NDLI portal, outlining its
vast array of resources and explaining how students can efficiently utilize
these tools for their academic research endeavors. Furthermore, the session
provided information regarding the registration procedure for the DDGDVC NDLI
Club, involvement in different activities, and advice on obtaining
certificates.
