Saraswathi Pooja Celebration 2024

On the occasion of Saraswathi Pooja 2024 an event was organized in the Library.

Respected Secretary, Principal, all the Head of the departments, Teaching and Non-teaching staff and students were invited. They all participated enthusiastically and sought the blessings of the almighty. Activities like veena playing, slogan chanting, mirudangam playing, saxophone playing, singing bajans and songs were presented on the occasion by the DDGDVC students.

SALIS : Library Ambassador Award 2024

Happy to announce that SALIS has evaluated and nominated for the prestigious SALIS - Library Ambassador Award for the year 2024  to Dr.V.Sowmyanarayanan, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Sanskrit, Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College, Chennai.

in recognition of his outstanding contribution and support to promote library services and DDGDVC Library NDLI Club activities to our users.

The award will be presented to him in the inaugural session of the SALIS 2024 National Conference on 'Connecting Users to Library Resources through Innovative Technologies ' on 4th & 5th October 2024, at Nirmala College for Women (Autonomous), Coimbatore.
