Library Team Development Programme (LTDP) - 9 on 05.06.2022

Programme Objectives:

How to format and write Conference papers and Journal articles.
How to avoid Plagiarism and authentically write a paper?
How to use reference management software?
How to identify the right journal to be published?
How to identify predatory and indexed journals

Programme Outcome:

The LTDP is aimed at Library staff to enhance their knowledge in conference Paper and Journal Article writing and publishing. This programme will enable them to prepare themselves for writing conference and journal articles and publish them. The LTDP also provides insight in to reference management tools and how to avoid plagiarism. This will enrich their knowledge in preparing research appears.

Library Team Development Programme (LTDP) “Scholarly paper writing and publishing - An overview” on 05.06.2022 at 2.30 pm by Mr.A.Subaveerapandiyan, Librarian, DMI-ST, Eugene University, Zambia.

Dr.M.Mani, Librarian Shift-I,DDGD Vaishnav College delivered the welcome address and Introduced the resource person.Presidential address was delivered by Dr.S.Santhosh Baboo, Principal, DDGD Vaishnav College, Chennai. Felicitation address by Ms.T.Sujatha Rammohan, Librarian Shift II Retired DDGD Vaishnav College. Key note address was given by Dr.J.Sathish, Assistant Professor Commerce, DDGD Vaishnav College, Chennai, Mr.A.Subaveerapandiyan explained on how to write conference paper and write Journal articles by using various research tools and how to avoid plagiarism. He elaborated on various reference management tools. The session ended with Vote of thanks by Mr.I.Noorul Hasan, Library Attender, DDGD Vaishnav college, Chennai.
